Italian BLT Pasta

This dish incorporates all my favorite BLT ingredients but in pasta form. It's fun and a nice change from your traditional spaghetti. Fresh and delicious!

Italian BLT Pasta
Serves 6
Cal 247, Carbs 46.1, Fat 2.5, Fiber 5, Protein 11

12 oz. cooked pasta of your choice (I used Ronzoni Thin Spaghetti)
1 tbsp. olive oil
3 tsp. chopped garlic
1 small yellow onion, diced
1 can Italian style diced tomatoes
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

In a large saucepan over medium high heat saute the onion in olive oil. Once soft and translucent toss in your garlic. Saute for one minute. Add in the diced tomatoes and let simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the bacon and continue cooking for 1-2 minutes. Toss hot cooked pasta in sauce and enjoy!
